Though there were many incidents like 'We did this' and again 'We did this' , every time you used different words to describe similar situation, this is very important and I am so happy that you already realise this.
You stared with a small introduction of the weather , gave a pleasant tone to the coming narration and then made it exciting and finally ended it with a relaxing tone. A perfect way to write on a pleasure trip.
