Delhi says Aadab to AAP !
So finally Delhi says Aadab to AAP ! And what a majestic way to say it ! (67 out ot 70 seats to AAP) a brute majority.
This is what I hoped for in the first place - A NDA government in Center and AAP government in Delhi.
A healthy democracy needs a strong government and a stronger opposition ! A very strong and vigilant opposition is as important as a very strong Government. BJP had no formidable opposition till now, AAP looks like it can occupy the space. Better AAP than Congress+CPM+JD+RJD+SP+Etc.,
Arvind Kejriwal has himself said Negative campaigns have lost. Right there. As I mentioned in my previous post in December 2013(before AK resigned) little activisim in law making is the need of the hour and Arvind Kejriwal had the capacity not to let it go out of control. At the same time I had also mentioned that the arrogance in a man(party) destroys the good in it/him in no time.

Hope their arrogance does not get to their head and they become the Mamta Benerjee of Delhi. When the first AAP government was formed in Delhi, the arrogance was noticeable in everything they do. For example, read the letters written by AK to Sonia Gandhi and BJP laying down conditions for accepting their support(SIC). But now it looks like they have learnt their lessons. Arrogance has given way to humilty. But that is visible only in AK, not his core members nor his supporters. Just read the celebratory comments by AAP supporters everywhere. Hope better sense prevails.
I really still hope AAP shows the same commitment that IAC did during Anna Hazare's Anti-corruption movement, which kindled a hope in entire India.

A huge lesson for BJP here, honeymoon is over !
The comissions and omissions both to be looked into. Not to mention the sustained media campaign by the BJP detractors right since 16 May 2014. Even if your detractors are spreading lies dont let the propagonda go unupposed. Just two examples :
1.Anti-BJP media: Modi is just touring foreign countries instead of providing good governance. And BJP was silent on this, they did not find it important to explain to the general populace how important these foreign tours are (one of them was addressing the UN general assembly).
2.Modi does not care for poor people he wears a ten lakh suit. BJP never bothered to call the bluff. Just TOI printed the correction somewhere obscurely that it was not a 10 lakh suit but stitched by his usual tailors and just in some thousands of rupees. The entire media concentrated on such frivolous issues rather than on the actual work done by the NDA. and BJP failed to highlight it themselves. WAKEUP NDA !
Anyway, all's well that ends well!
